Clinical Data
Preclinical animal studies consistently show BPC-157 accelerates wound and musculoskeletal injury healing, reduces inflammation, promotes angiogenesis, and improves biomechanical tissue strength. For example, rodent models with tendon injuries treated with BPC-157 exhibited faster regeneration and increased tendon functionality, including higher load to failure and better recovery scores compared to controls. In a notable rat study, BPC-157-treated animals showed significantly improved tendon healing and functional recovery within 14 days relative to untreated groups. Human data are very limited, but preclinical safety studies have not identified toxic effects at practical dosages.
