CJC-1295 DAC is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) modified with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) to significantly extend its half-life and bioavailability. Clinical Data

Pharmacokinetic studies demonstrate that the addition of the DAC component extends the peptide’s half-life to approximately 6–8 days in human subjects, compared to minutes for native GHRH. Clinical research indicates that a single administration can elevate plasma GH levels by 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or longer, and IGF-1 levels by 1.5- to 3-fold for 9–11 days. In murine models lacking GHRH, treatment with CJC-1295 DAC effectively normalized lean body mass and linear growth, suggesting potent anabolic activity. Long-term safety data in animal models have shown sustained efficacy without significant desensitization of the pituitary axis.
